Wildlife Carvings
Western wildlife imagery beautifully carved into the warm natural tones of wood. Much of the wood Huckaba Custom Design uses is Montana salvaged beetle-killed pine trees, known as Blue Pine. Through careful milling and finishing Kipp strives to enhance the life history ingrained in each log's colorful variations and knotty lifelines.
These sample wildlife carvings are used in every product category we offer. Other wood includes local Ponderosa Pine and Douglas Fir, and a few requested hardwoods such as Oak and Maple. Wood species in stock can vary so please check current availability with Kipp.
Old Buffalo
Admire the legendary Old Buffalo, a true symbol of strength and perseverance. Beautifully carved in Douglas Fir, with torch color enhancements. A hungry wolf stalks the old bull at a respectful distance near the base of the Rocky Mountains. Measures 36 x 14 x 1.5 inches.
